How does the therapist approval process work?In order for a psychotherapist to be approved by TE, he must first document that he has a psychology or PDR undergraduate degree. The certified therapist declares the professional training he/she has received, the duration of the training, the duration of supervision and his/her supervisor during the application made through the website. Applications of therapists who have not received 200 hours of post-graduate professional training and 100 hours of supervision are not evaluated. The expert, who is confirmed to have the necessary competencies, requests a TE jury presentation for a date convenient for him. 5 TE supervisors participate in the juries. Participation in the jury is free for the first year. At the end of the jury, the therapist's competence is approved or disapproved. An unapproved therapist can make his next application after 1 year at the earliest. A referral protocol is signed with the approved therapist. If the therapist wishes to receive further guidance by appearing on the Therapist Institute website, he/she will be directed to the contracted photo shooting and video shooting agency. An agency service fee of 3000 TL is requested from the therapist for the production of marketing materials of the therapist's choice. Video interviews and photo shoots are made for use on TE platforms. If the locations where the therapist will see the client are not TE branches, the physical suitability of the relevant locations is examined and approved.
